The North Orbit 2027 Kite needs no introduction. For years, the Orbit has been the go-to choice for riders who want to jump high and throw controlled kiteloops. While the 2026 model already made a big leap forward with its thinner leading edge, N-MAX2 Pro airframe, and five bridle points, North has pushed things even further this year. The focus now is on refining the aerodynamic profile and bridle geometry for a smoother, more playful kite that responds even more directly to your input.

You’ll notice the updated bridle geometry the moment you start steering. The kite reacts faster and delivers more direct feedback through the bar. Meanwhile, the forward-cambered profile has been refined further, giving the Orbit even more stable, smooth flight across all conditions. Whether you’re riding gusty conditions or a steady southwesterly, the kite holds its position predictably overhead, giving you the confidence to push a little harder.

The slimmer wingtips are one of the standout updates this year. Narrower tips mean less drag, faster turning speed, and more vertical lift on your pop. The result: the Orbit 2027 shoots you straight up and delivers more hangtime than last year’s model. The high-aspect-ratio frame amplifies this effect further, so you float longer, gain more time in the air, and come back down fully in control.

The N-MAX2 airframe paired with the N-RS3 Canopy creates a balanced build, stiff where it counts and light where it can be. The PTP2 panels, first introduced in the 2026 model, return for 2027, ensuring clean airflow and reduced tension on the seams. The 5-point response bridle is precisely tuned to the updated design for consistent performance, even in strong wind. Looking for even more performance and more extreme big air? The Orbit Ultra is your next step.

From your first big jumps to the most technical big air tricks, the North Orbit 2027 Kite suits every level. Pro-level technology at a sharp price, a wide wind range, and that signature Orbit stability.
