Inside, the Era is packed with clever tech, but what you really notice is how good it rides. The carbon construction keeps the board nice and light and stiff, which is where that explosive pop comes from. The core is stiff in the middle and a bit softer in the tips, so the board stays powerful while still soaking up the chop. The fins are angled for extra grip, and the double concave underneath keeps you stable at high speed and softens your landings.

So what's different from the Era V1? Honestly: mostly the looks. Slingshot simply carried over the proven shape and construction of the V1 and gave the Era a new jacket. Makes sense too, because there's nothing to change on a board this good. The aggressive take-off, the reliable landings and the confidence at high speed that made the V1 so popular are all right back in the V2.
